Shame they don't let civvies in.
In response, the people could do a noise lynch- IE collectively start blasting music from all corners of the show, such that NO ONE could be identified as a guilty party. That'd show 'em.
GG Anet! (Am I the only one that finds it strangely awesome that they've been reprimanded for troublemaking?)

Sounds like this would have been a very boring year if it hadn't been for NCSoft.

Diablo,
What do you do for a living? You seem to know a lot about the goings on in the gaming world. Even if it was boring, I'm jealous you got to go

Let's not forget that NCsoft did say they had decibel monitoring officers and according to them they didn't violate any rules because their volume is within the limit.

NCsoft is not at fault here.

Imagine a No holds bard MMO conference in a Convention hall across the street from E3? lol OUCH!!! Bring it on!!!! I know if I was looking and saw a bunch of babes in scantily clad outfits and rock music on one side and a bunch of console booths on the other I would definitely be going to the Babes and Music!!! Remember the target audience for Video games is no longer the geeky little preteen begging parents for money.. this is a REAL industry with targets in the 20 to 40 year old range. That encompasses the richest market potential in the world atm...

If NCSoft didn't break sound limit, we must acquit!

This doesn't really sound like its E3's problem. I'm sure there were other companies nearby that didn't enjoy the sounds of their products being drowned out by that strange "Mutator" band.

You people act like the fine was so unjust. Sounds more like you're just having bad memories of cranky neighbors raining on your frat parties Boo hoo.

I agree. Unless you attended E3, no one is in a position to say. And even so, it is purely subjective.

Glad to see so many people are eating up this publicity stunt by a poor, downtroden software publishing company executive sticking it to the man.

He did it...FOR THE FANS.

Well, no, he does it for the giant paychecks, but doing it for the fans sounds nicer.

Silly E3 - Only 5k that will take NCSoft about 10 mins Farming w/ Bots in Elona - Get Real if you want to Show that you have some... Then get a real fine! They probably give the Janitor a bigger X-mas bonus than 5k!

ROCK ON NCSOFT - Don't Let the Wanna be Man try to take you down!

Except NCSOFT is The Man too. They didn't become a rich corporation by giving people thumbs up and high fives, they became rich by addicting people to MMORPGs.

I've been to E3 a few times a very long time ago. It was also a lot of fun. Like one long party with video games. I got really drunk took pics with girls and the after parties were completely insane.

I no longer to due to traveling is difficult now I have a family. From friends that still go I always here last year was better. That will show you where E3 is headed.
